What is Rotary?

Have you ever heard of the Rotary Club?
Of course you have.
Millions of people all over the World know about the existence of the Rotary Club, but what is it? How does it exist?
What is its purpose?
Is it a Closed shop? A secret Society?

Lots of questions with some very simple answers ...

1) The Rotary Club is an international organisation that serves Communities all over the world in many different ways.
Often assisting saviour of lives in times of serious emergencies.

2) The Rotary Club plays an important role in local Community as well as overseas with an aim to meet the needs of many local issues concerned with overcoming deprivation and encouraging regeneration.

3) The Rotary Clubs locally are made up of groups of people who have
an unselfish mindset to help others .

4) Because of the nature of the members of each club, genuine open and
honest fellowship exists.

5) The Rotary Club has been the major key player in wiping out Polio
Worldwide.

6) If you would like to become a Rotarian you can lodge your interest
with your local Club Secretary or contact any Rotary Club Member
that you know. If you don’t know anyone, watch out for the Giveaway
Lapel Badge proudly worn by every member depicting the Rotary
Wheel. Don’t be shy ! Just go and ask. We are a very friendly bunch !!
